Walkers' Group Strides Out Again

The Walkers Group strode back in to action in October. Eight members gathered at The Chalkhill Blue and completed a 7.5 km walk across the old airfield, along the military railway, up on to Piper’s Hill and back through Monxton. The weather was dry and mild and en route there were fine views out to Quarley Ring and Bury Hill and back over the Business Park. Having been prevented from walking as a group for seven months, all agreed that that it had been a most enjoyable morning. Hopefully we will be able to continue to meet through the coming winter!
