Activity Risk Assessments
The Rule of 6 is law and likely to remain in place for 6 months. Group Leaders are encouraged to use Zoom where possible to maintain contact with members.
As a reminder, Group Leaders for activities - other than virtual ones - must complete a Risk Assessment (see opposite) and seek U3A committee approval for any event contemplated. Please send the Assessment to the Secretary allowing sufficient time for the Committee to approve the event. This process is necessary to ensure you are insured under our U3A policy.

Group Leaders must conduct a Risk Assessment for the activity they intend to conduct. A copy of the completed Risk Assessments should be held by Group Leaders and copied to the Secretary at firstname.lastname@example.org.
In completing the form, be aware that government guidelines are constantly being amended and contemporary rules should be taken into account.

The form is a Word document.
Download the form.
Edit it by typing your responses in the "Checklist Observations/Actions" column.
Save it (give it a unique name, every time you save the form)
Return the form to the secretary (email@example.com) as an attachment to your email.
