The object of the Group is to arrange visits to places of interest to the members.
The choice of transport for visits will be coach, community minibus or self-drive. Members are respectfully requested to make payments for visits by cheque and not in cash.
New Questers Committee members are always welcome and members who are interested in joining the Committee should contact the Group Co-ordinator.

Wednesday 24th July – Weymouth
There is one place spare on the minibus, which will leave Wickes Carpark at 08:45 and will get back to Andover around 17:45. The journey time is a little under two hours, the cost is £10. Drop off and pick up will be on the South Esplanade, opposite the Fairhaven Hotel.

Tuesday 27th August – Wakehurst House and Gardens
We are running a minibus to Wakehurst in Sussex, which is owned by the National Trust but used and managed by Kew Royal Botanic Gardens as home to over 500 acres of the world’s plants and the Millennium Seed Bank.
The cost for transport and a guided tour is £13. Admission is free for NT and RHS members; Hilliers members receive ‘two-for-one’ entry; non-members pay £13.95 on the day. Names and payments will be taken at the July meeting.

Thursday 5th September – Keyneston Mill Perfumery
We are running a minibus to Keyneston Mill near Blandford, the home of Parterre Fragrances and the largest private botanic gardens in the country dedicated solely to aromatic and scented plants, with over 1,500 varieties on the 50-acre estate. Here the key ingredients of Parterre luxury perfumes are grown, harvested and distilled.
The cost is £28 per person which covers admission, a guided morning tour of the fragrance gardens and a guided afternoon tour of the perfumery.

Friday 11th October – ARQIVA, Crawley
ARQIVA is a British telecommunications company which provides broadcast transmission facilities and infrastructure in the UK and Ireland. They work with major broadcasters including BBC and ITV, mobile network operators, independent radio groups and utility companies. They also provide digital and satellite services for international clients worldwide including Canal+ and Al Jazeera.
This will be a free self-drive visit from 10:30 to 16:30 and includes a series of technical presentations, a tour of the offices and a buffet lunch.

Thursday 5th December – Coach to London
We will be running a coach up to London, leaving Wickes Carpark at 07:45 and dropping off and picking up at the Museums and at Aldwych. The cost will be £16 for members and £18 for non-members. We have also arranged a guided morning walk around the Inns of Court, the cost for this will be £6.
